Accessibility statement
In line with the Israeli equal-rights accessibility regulations for service providers, 2013.
General
Beautyhub works to make its service usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat this as part of the service rather than an addition to it.
Accessibility work follows Israeli standard 5568, which adopts the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.
What has been done
Full keyboard navigation, with a clear and visible focus indicator.
A skip link to the main content at the top of every page.
A hierarchical heading structure and semantic landmarks, so screen readers can navigate by structure.
A text description for every control shown only as an icon.
Touch targets of at least 44 pixels on mobile.
Text and background contrast meeting the AA threshold.
Reduced-motion preferences are honoured: animation is switched off for anyone who has asked their device for that.
Full Hebrew and English support, including correct interface direction.
How this was checked
The last review was on 24.08.2026 and is the first one based on measurement rather than reading alone.
It covered the central journeys — search, search results, sign in, registration, the business page and booking, profile, my bookings, and the owner's dashboard — in Hebrew and English, on a wide screen and at 375 pixels.
It used an automated tool against WCAG 2.1 level AA (which includes the 2.0 AA requirements the Israeli standard adopts), a keyboard-only pass through every page, and contrast ratios measured against the actual interface colours.
What was not checked, said plainly: no test with a real screen reader (NVDA, VoiceOver or TalkBack), no 200% zoom test, and no screens outside the journeys listed above.
Known limitations
Location maps use a third-party component that is not fully accessible to screen readers. The map is marked as a named region you can skip past, and every marker on it has a name, but it remains a spatial interface. The address appears as text beside the map, and on the search screen the same businesses are listed beside it and again in a separate list view — so none of the information depends on the map.
Images uploaded by businesses and clients do not necessarily carry alternative text, because that text is written by whoever uploads them.
Screens outside the central journeys have not been audited systematically. The site-wide fixes apply to them too, but they were not measured.
If you run into anything else, please tell us and we will address it.
